Adjust font size:

A concert memorializing the late Hong Kong mega star Leslie Cheung will be held at Shanghai Stadium on April 19.

The concert is part of a commemoration world tour, following the first in Hong Kong on April 1, according to event organizers.

Cheung shocked fans by committing suicide on April 1, 2003. He jumped out a window of the Mandarin Oriental hotel in Hong Kong.

Jacky Cheung, who is known as the "God of Singing," and Karen Mok will be among those to perform at the concert.

Leslie Cheung also was an accomplished actor, appearing in John Woo's "A Better Tomorrow,'' Wong Kar-Wai's "Days of Being Wild," and Chen Kaige's "Farewell My Concubine,'' among many others.

Ticket prices for the Shanghai concert range from 120 yuan (US$16.52) to 1,680 yuan.
