Famous British model Naomi Campbell has stayed in Sao Paulo's Sirio Libanes Hospital since Sunday, announced the hospital's press office on Tuesday.

Campbell is being watched over by doctors David Uip and Jose Aristodemo Pinotti, said the office, which declined to release the reason for Campbell's hospitalization.

The model decided not to provide further information on her health condition and asked the two doctors not to make any comments on her case.

Uip is specialized in infectious diseases, while Pinotti is specialized in advanced techniques for treating gynaecological diseases and breast cancer.
