This combination photo shows satellite images of the Sheldon glacier, located on the western side of the Antarctic Peninsula, taken by Landsat in February 1986 (top) and February 2001 (centre), and by Topsat in October 2007 (bottom). The Antarctic Peninsula has warmed faster than anywhere else on Earth in the last 50 years.(
