Serious drought hits SW China

Yang Honghui, a 73-year-old villager in the drought-hit Tianzhu County, southwest China's Guizhou Province squats on his dried farmland, Aug. 24, 2010. Due to the high-temperature and less-rainfall weather condition, serious drought hit some of the areas in Guizhou. Crop failure will be seen in some severely afflicted areas.
