Central Russia has enjoyed unseasonably warm weather in the early November, and another record-high temperature may swept the region in the coming days, officials from meteorological bureau said on Monday.

Day temperatures in November had hit 11 to 14 degrees Celsius, nine degrees above the long-term average for mid-November, Roman Vilfand, director of the Russian Meteorological Center, was quoted by local media.

He said the temperature will significantly rise from Tuesday night to 6 to 11 degrees, and on Wednesday, the temperature might stand at about 10 degrees Celsius at night, ranking third since 1913.

According to him, warm weather has been brought to Central Russia by winds from South-Western Europe.

In summer this year, Russia has experienced the heat wave unseen since the start of the records. The heat wave caused severe drought and wildfires which, in turn, caused palpable economic damage for the country's agriculture.
