A forest fire was put out Tuesday morning in Yulong County in Lijiang, southwestern China's Yunnan Province, said China's State Forest Fire Prevention Headquarters. No casualties were reported from the fire.

The fire occurred at Wutai Village in Huangshan Township at about 5:00 a.m. Monday and was put out at 5:00 a.m. Tuesday after 1,400 people were called upon to assist in battling the blaze.

The fire spread over 25 hectares. The cause of the fire is under investigation, according to officials.

While fighting the blaze, the State Forestry Administration (SFA) dispatched a helicopter to fight the fire.
