C. China's Hunan fights against drought

A drought hit Hunan Province in April, with the water level of Dongting Lake falling recently due to the lack of rainfall. Farms that cover about 121,300 hectares and 440,000 people were affected by the drought near Dongting Lake. The local government has organized 350,000 people to fight the drought with equipment to minimize the negative effect.
