An earthquake measuring 5.0 on the Richter scale jolted Hindu Kush region, Afghanistan at 2343 GMT on Monday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 112.20 km, was initially determined to be at 35.9145 degrees north latitude and 69.6049 degrees east longitude.
