5.4-magnitude quake hits Izu Islands, Japan region

An earthquake measuring 5.4 on the Richter scale jolted Izu Islands, Japan region at 02:03:29 GMT on Tuesday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 102.60 km, was initially determined to be at 31.2894 degrees north latitude and 140.2882 degrees east longitude.
