A 5.2-magnitude earthquake jolted Atux city in Kizilsu Kirgiz Autonomous Prefecture, northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, at 11:01 a.m. Monday Beijing Time.

A 5.2-magnitude earthquake jolted Atux city in Kizilsu Kirgiz Autonomous Prefecture, northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, at 11:01 a.m. Monday Beijing Time, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).

The epicenter, with a depth of about 8 km, was monitored at 40.2 degrees north latitude and 77.5 degrees east longitude.
