An earthquake measuring 5.6 on the Richter scale jolted southern Iran at 00:07:04 GMT on Sunday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 25.00 km, was initially determined to be at 26.7663 degrees north latitude and 57.7685 degrees east longitude.
