China issues highest warning against Typhoon Fitow

"We must not leave anybody in danger," said Zhejiang Governor Li Qiang. He asked local authorities to enhance inspection of dams and reservoirs as well as step up safety checks of important facilities and chemical plants.

Chiefs of government agencies in Zhejiang were asked to cancel their leave and stay alert of the typhoon.

All bullet trains traveling between the city of Ningbo and the city of Xiamen will be suspended from Monday night because of the typhoon, according to the train station of Hangzhou, Zhejiang's capical city.
