A wild snow leopard was captured on camera chasing a flock of capra ibexes in Bortala Mongol Autonomous Prefecture in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region on Nov. 3, according to Xinjiangnet.com.cn.

This is China's first ever HD photo of a snow leopard hunting.

The snow leopard, rarer than giant pandas, is the first-class protected animals in China. It has been listed on the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species.
