Some 7.5 tons of fish were found dead in a lake in Shenzhen, south China's Guangdong Province on Tuesday, according to Yangcheng Evening News.

The high number of dead fish is probably due to industrial sewage discharged into the lake.

The cause of the fish kill is still under investigation.
