Two dead, 13 missing in SW China landslide

Two people were confirmed dead, three others were injured and another 13 were missing by early hours on Tuesday after a landslide on Monday morning in southwest China's Yunnan Province, according to local authorities.

The accident happened at about 9 a.m. in Latudi Village, Shangpa Town, Fugong County. A brick mill was buried in the landslide, said Cao Xiao, deputy head of the county.

Of the three injured, one was seriously wounded and has been sent to a hospital in Baoshan city, one was slightly injured and has been hospitalized in the county, and another slightly wounded has left hospital.

Rescuers are working around the clock to search for the missing.
