By dawn on Tuesday morning, lava had crossed into two privately owned properties above the village of Pahoa, Hawaii. The lava flow from the Kilauea volcano has been slogging toward the village of Pahoa for weeks, moving at speeds of 10 to 15 yards (meters) an hour as it bubbled over a cemetery and reached the community's outskirts.[Photo/USGS]
