5 tips for an animal-friendly lifestyle

People are always curious about wild animals but rare people know animalswell. Many people are keen on watching or taking part in animal-related activitiesbut simplyunaware of theabuse behind thescenes.

According to the latest global survey by World Animal Protection and TNS, nearly 50% of interviewees (around 56% of interviewees in China) who pay for a wild animal experience do so because they love animals. Due to the lack of correct animal protection awareness, many people wrongly choose to watch wild animal show to learn about animals.

As a leading organization of global animal protection, World Animal Protection effortsto call on public to say “No” to wild animal entertainment through launchinga global campaign, called the Animal Friendly Tourism., The campaign aims at advocatingfor wild animals to live freely in the wild where they belong to, and also encouraging people to be aware ofanimals’ living condition in the wild and enjoy the charm of animals in nature in an animal-friendly way.

1. Resist the animal entertainment

Many zoos as well asmarine parks keep animals in poor conditions with their basic needs denied. Activities,such asswimming with dolphins, seem fun and educational;however, the dolphins preformin an unnatural and stressful environment, their real habits is hard to appear.So please watch thewildlife where it belongs -- in the wild.
