Panda Yuan Zai,a beloved resident at the Taipei Zoo, had an early birthday celebration on Saturday, as she will turn two years old on Monday.

Yuan Zai, the cute panda cub at the Taipei Zoo, had crowds of fans present at her birthday party, where she got the classic birthday treat, an ice cake made out of apple, carrot and fruit juice.

Yuan Zai was born in Taiwan on July 6, 2013, as an happy outcome of her parents Tuan Tuan and Yuan Yuan, a pair of giant pandas given as a goodwill gift to Taiwan by the mainland.

Yuan Zai has been a favorite among visitors to the zoo ever since she was born, and she is currently not on any return schedule to the mainland.
