An extraordinary scene of billows of smoke floating in opposite directions was recently seen in Northeast China's Shenyang, reported Chinanews.com.

From Dec 27 to 28, some Shenyang residents were surprised to see the smoke from several chimneys floating in opposite directions. The phenomenon, according to experts, is partly due to different atmospheric pressures at different altitudes and partly because of the varying terrain.
