Firefighters head to the forest fire scene of Tianwanggou woodland in Liancheng National Natural Reserve of Yongdeng County, northwest China's Gansu Province, June 7, 2011. A fire broken out on the national nature reserve on Tuesday night due to lightning strike. The fire has scorched about 750 mu or 50 hectares forests here. The Liancheng National Natural Reserve, located 140 km away from the provincial capital of Lanzhou, covers an area of 47,000 hectares between the Qilian Mountains and Loess Plateau. The Tianwanggou woodland is 200 km away from Lanzhou. [Xinhua/Gao Jianjun]
