A contingent of armed policemen with the Ji'an City's Detachment convey and pile up sand bags in a rush consolidation of the Fangzhou Batardeau to contain the tempestuous and surging Ganjiang River, at Liujiacun section, in Ji'an City, east China's Jiangxi Province, June 24, 2010. It took some 6 hours for more than 100 armed policemen in a swift mobilization to consolidate 80 cubic meters of the batardeau with some 3,800 sand bags in their emergency operation to obviate the peril of dyke-burst and guarantee the safety of 10,000 local people.
