A one-month-long cultural event called "Experience China" begined Wednesday in South Africa. This is the largest cultural exchange activity the Chinese government has staged in Africa.

Chinese actors and actresses wearing traditional Chinese costumes are performing an ancient song and dance in Pretoria, the administrative capital of South Africa, on October 30. The event takes place before a press conference introducing the upcoming Chinese cultural event "Experience China in South Africa."
