At least 100 thousand pregnant women in China's southwest Yunnan
Province will have access to AIDS testing this year, in a bid
to curb mother-to-baby transmission.
One hundred and twenty-five pregnant women were discovered infected
with AIDS virus in Yunnan Province last year and they were treated
in time to prevent AIDS transmission.
Yunnan Province plans to provide AIDS testing for 300 thousand
people this year.
Their efforts have been confirmed by international AIDS prevention
Organizations.
