Four senior officials investigated for graft in 2008

China last year investigated 2,687 government officials for graft, malfeasance and infringement on people's rights, including four at the province or ministry level, a report said Tuesday.

China's Prosecutor-General Cao Jianming delivered the report on the work of the Supreme People's Procuratorate at the Second Session of the 11th National People's Congress, or parliament.
