Ministry of Railways overrates its performance
Adjust font size:

In fact, great pressure was imposed on the railway departments during the 2008 Spring Festival since other modes of transportation were essentially stopped due to the blizzards. The railway departments put forth great effort towards transportation during the holiday, which is real achievement and deserves commendation.

However, the transportation chaos during the Spring Festival cannot be overlooked. More tickets were sold than the transportation capability allowed, there was illegal ticket selling, and food prices on stranded trains were raised.

Comparing the evaluation, the gap in the performance of government departments can be found. The disparity may not simply be in numbers, but the public can have their own judgments.
