State Council appoints new officials

The State Council, China's cabinet, appointed Wang Yongqing as its new deputy secretary-general and Yao Gang as vice-chairman of the China Securities Regulatory Commission on Friday.

The State Council also dismissed Li Shishi as its deputy secretary-general, Zhu Zhigang as vice minister of Finance, Tang Jun as vice minister of Personnel, Li Yuan as vice minister of Land and Resources and Deputy State Superintendent General of Land, and Wang Yongqing as deputy director of the Legislative Affairs Office of the State Council.
