Hu Jintao reelected president

Hu Jintao, general-secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, was reelected president of the country Saturday morning at the ongoing session of the 11th National People's Congress, China's top legislature.

Hu, born in 1942, has been China's president since March 2003.
