NPC plenary meeting to vote on new gov't lineup

The seventh plenary meeting of the ongoing First Session of the 11th National People's Congress (NPC), China's top legislature, started at 3:00 p.m. Monday to vote on the new lineup of the State Council, the Cabinet.

The namelist of vice-premiers, state councilors, ministers, heads of commissions, governor of the People's Bank of China, auditor-general of the National Audit Office, and secretary-general of the State Council was nominated by Premier Wen Jiabao.

The meeting will also vote for the composition of the special committees of the 11th NPC.
