First Session of 11th NPC concludes

The two-week First Session of the 11th National People's Congress (NPC), China's top legislature, closed on Tuesday morning after completing its agenda.

The closing meeting, held at the Great Hall of the People in downtown Beijing, was presided over by Wu Bangguo, chairman of the NPC Standing Committee and an executive chairman of the session.
