More Transparent Gov't Affairs Called
Adjust font size:

A senior official of the Communist Party of China (CPC) said that government work shall be more transparent in the course of building a harmonious society.

Over the past several years, Party committees and governments at various levels have exerted great efforts to promote the transparency of administrative affairs, the official said.

The remarks were made by He Yong, deputy secretary of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, who also heads a national leading group for transparent administration.

He urged Party committees and governments at different layers to continue focusing on issues that most concern the public in an effort to make their work more transparent and contribute to building of a harmonious society.

Party and government officials should take transparency as a crucial task for promoting honest, industrious, practical and efficient administration, He said.
