China's State Council appoints senior officials

China's State Council, or Cabinet, announced Thursday the appointment of four senior officials.

Chen Zhimin and Huang Ming were appointed vice ministers of Public Security, and Yang Yingming, executive director of China for the Asian Development Bank, replacing Zhang Wencai.

Yang Shaolin was appointed World Bank executive director for China, replacing Zou Jiayi.
