China to Learn from Foreign Judicial Experiences
Adjust font size:

China is ready to learn from foreign judicial experiences, said a senior official of the Communist Party of China (CPC).

Luo Gan, member of the Political Bureau Standing Committee of the CPC Central Committee, made the remark at a meeting with Kemal Bedri, president of the Supreme Court of Ethiopia.

Luo spoke highly of the Ethiopian government's one-China stance and its attention to relations with China ever since the two countries established diplomatic ties in 1970.

Since forging diplomatic ties, bilateral friendship and cooperation in various fields have continuously progressed, said Luo, pointing to the momentum of high-level visits between the two sides since 2003 and the initiation of bilateral judicial exchanges last year.

He said he was convinced that the visit would further promote bilateral judicial exchanges and cooperation and contribute to the development of bilateral friendly relations.

Luo also briefed the visitors on China's development and its development of democracy and its legal system.

Bedri said Ethiopia and China are proud of their long-term friendly relations and the judicial departments of the two countries also enjoy friendly relations. He expressed the hope that this visit would boost bilateral judicial cooperation.

He said Ethiopia and all of Africa see China as a friend and admire China's achievements.

Bedri is in Beijing as a guest of the Supreme People's Court of China.
