Mongolia Wants to Deepen Ties with China
Adjust font size:

Mongolia considers its relationship with China very important, and hopes to further develop the two countries' cooperative ventures in various areas, said the country's new Prime Minister Miyeegombo Enkhbold.

Enkhbold made the remarks during a meeting with the Chinese Ambassador Gao Shumao Tuesday, saying the change of government in his nation will not affect its diplomatic policy towards China.

He expressed his hope that the two sides could continue their cooperation in the construction of railways and residential buildings as well as other ventures.

The appointment of Enkhbold as the new prime minister in January marked an end to a political crisis which had been triggered by 10 cabinet ministers from the Mongolian People's Revolutionary Party (MPRP) quitting former Prime Minister Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj's coalition government.
