Adjust font size:

The Communist Party of China (CPC) welcomes more European parliamentary members to visit China, said a senior CPC official in Beijing Monday.

The European parliamentary members can learn more about China through their China tour, and work with the CPC to jointly promote healthy and all-round development of China-EU relations, Wang Jiarui, head of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, said in a meeting with Martin Schulz, chairman of the Socialist Group in the European Parliament, and his delegation.

Wang spoke highly of the development of China-EU relations, saying that China and the EU enjoy sound bilateral relations and have constantly increased mutual understanding.

Expressing appreciation for the remarkable achievements of China in economic growth, Schulz hoped that the Socialist Group in the European Parliament and the CPC would enhance exchanges and cooperation to jointly cope with the challenges in the development process and push forward the stable development of EU-China relations.

Schulz stressed that the Socialist Group in the European Parliament firmly adheres to the one-China policy.
