Chinese, Palestinian FMs Meet

Chinese Foreign Minister Li Zhaoxing met with his Palestinian counterpart Mahmud al-Zahar in Beijing on Thursday.

 

The meeting between Li and al-Zahar came in the wake of the second Ministerial Meeting of the China-Arab Cooperation Forum, which concluded Thursday afternoon.

 

Li also met with foreign ministers or other officials from Lebanon, Morocco, Mauritania, Aman, Qatar and Egypt.

 

The two-day ministerial meeting was attended by delegates from China and 22 Arab countries, who inked a communiqué, an action plan for 2006-2008, an environmental cooperation plan and a memorandum of understanding for a meeting between Chinese and Arab entrepreneurs.
