Senior CPC Official Meets with Japanese Former FM

Wang Jiarui, head of the International Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, met in Beijing Tuesday with Japanese former foreign minister Tanaka Makiko.

 

Wang thanked Tanaka's contribution for China-Japan friendly relations. He hoped the former foreign minister would continue her effort to promote China-Japan friendly ties.

 

Tanaka Makiko said she is glad to see Japan-China relationship has embarked on a healthy way. She pledged to make more efforts to help carry on Japan-China friendship from generation to generation.

 

Tanaka Makiko was here attending a seminar.
