S Korean FM Starts Visit to China

South Korean Foreign Minister Song Min-soon arrived in Beijing Thursday afternoon, starting his three-day official visit to China as guest of Foreign Minister Li Zhaoxing.

 

During Song's stay in the Chinese capital, Premier Wen Jiabao, State Councilor Tang Jiaxuan and Li will have meetings or talks with him. The two sides will discuss China-South Korea relations and other issues of common concern.

 

Foreign Ministry spokesperson Liu Jianchao told a regular press conference on Tuesday that the related situation of the Korean Peninsula nuclear issue and the six-party talks would be on the agenda of Song's visit.
