Senior CPC Official Meets Adviser of Omani Sultan

Wang Jiarui, head of the International Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC), met in Beijing Wednesday with Omar Zawawi, adviser of foreign affairs of Omani Sultan Qabus Bin Said.

 

The two sides highly appraised the development of friendly and cooperative ties between China and Oman, according to the International Department of the CPC Central Committee.

 

Wang said the CPC is willing to work with the Omani side to seek new ways to deepen bilateral cooperation of mutual benefits.

 

Wang appreciated Oman's adherence to the one-China principle. He also briefed the Omani guest on China's building of a harmonious society and the ongoing annual parliamentary session.

 

Zawawi said he appreciated China's sticking to the peaceful development road and good-neighbor policy, adding that Oman will strictly follow friendly policies toward China and he will make active efforts in this regard.
