China Appoints New Ambassadors

President Hu Jintao appointed and dismissed ambassadors to six countries, in accordance with a decision made by the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (NPC), the top legislature.

 

Wu Zexian is appointed as ambassador to the Democratic Republic of Congo to replace Fan Zhenshui.

 

Tian Guangfeng replaces Hong Hong as new ambassador to Mozambique.

 

Zhang Chunxiang is appointed as ambassador to Hungary to replace Zhu Zushou.

 

Zhang Xiaokang (female) is appointed as ambassador to Singaporeto replace Zhang Yun.

 

Li Changhua replaces Wu Changsheng as new ambassador to Colombia.

 

Ding Xiaowen replaces Jiang Zhengyun as new ambassador to Botswana.
