Chinese Premier Meets Spanish Deputy PM

Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao met on Friday with visiting Spanish first deputy Prime Minister Maria Teresa Fernandez de la Vega.

At the invitation of the Chinese government, Fernandez de la Vega arrived in China on April 2.

Besides Beijing, Fernandez de la Vega also visited Shanghai, China's economic hub, and is scheduled to visit Xi'an, capital of China's northwestern Shaanxi Province.
