Vice President Zeng Qinghong met in Beijing Tuesday with
visiting Croatian Minister of Foreign Affairs and European
Integration Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic.
Zeng said China and Croatia have witnessed fruitful cooperation
on various fields and supported each other on issues of mutual
concern since they forged diplomatic relations 15 years ago.
The two countries have also enhanced coordination in
international affairs, said Zeng, appreciating Croatia's adherence
to the one-China policy.
Sine the two countries established all-round cooperative
partnership in 2005, the relationship has entered a new stage of
development, said Zeng.
Zeng said China is ready to make joint efforts with Croatia to
boost political mutual trust and pragmatic cooperation to benefit
the two peoples.
Grabar-Kitarovic, who is paying an official visit to China from
May 20 to 23, said Croatia regards China as an important partner
and appreciates the role China has played in international
arena.
Croatia will continue to stick to the one-China policy and
supports China's peaceful reunification cause, said
Grabar-Kitarovic.
Also on Tuesday, Grabar-Kitarovic attended a reception marking
the 15th anniversary of the establishment of China-Croatia
diplomatic ties, which was hosted by the Chinese People's
