DM Meets Chief Staff of Central Africa
Adjust font size:

Defense Minister Cao Gangchuan on Tuesday met with visiting Chief of General Staff of Armed Forces of Central Africa Jules Bernard Ouande in Beijing.

China and Central Africa have witnessed sound growth of bilateral relations as well as military ties in recent years, which is helpful to deepen mutual understanding and friendship, said Cao.

China always emphasizes to develop friendly relations with Central Africa and is willing to bring up cooperation between Chinese and Central African armed forces in each field to a new height, said Cao.

Cao also expressed appreciation and thanks to the Central African government's adherence to the one-China policy.

Echoing Cao's remarks, Ouande said China's rapid growth in recent years "impressive" and beneficial to Central Africa.

We hope that Central Africa could continuously maintain friendly relations with the Chinese government and armed forces, Ouande said.

Central Africa adheres to the one-China policy and will unswervingly support China's stance on Taiwan and its efforts to safeguard national unity, Ouande said.
