Senior CPC official meets US envoy on six-party talks

Wang Jiarui, head of the International Department of the Central Committee of Communist Party of China (CPC), met in Beijing on Friday with top US envoy on the six-party talks Christopher Hill.

 

Wang reiterated China's principle and stance on the progress of the talks and stressed China would take active measures to work with other involved parties to promote the talks.

 

Hill said he appreciated China's active efforts and hoped to further intensify communication and cooperation with China and maintain patient so as to make contribution to the final solution of the Korean Peninsular nuclear issue.
