Chinese FM meets Vietnamese Deputy PM

Chinese Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi on Thursday met with Vietnamese Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Gia Khiem in Beijing.

Yang and Pham exchanged views on China-Vietnam relations and agreed to strengthen communication and cooperation between the ministries of foreign affairs of the two countries, to well implement the important consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries on developing bilateral ties and collaboration in various fields so as to bring the China-Vietnam ties to a new high.

Yang and Pham also exchanged views on international or regional issues of common concern.
