Indian, British PMs discuss terrorism

British Prime Minister Gordon Brown on Sunday met Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh here and is understood to have discussed the situation in the wake of the Mumbai terror attacks, according to the Press Trust of India.

Making an unscheduled visit to India, Brown met Singh over breakfast few hours after his tour of border areas of Afghanistan.

Brown's visit comes in the wake of rising tensions between India and Pakistan over the Mumbai terror attacks.

The British Prime Minister had arrived here in the wee hours of Saturday and left for Afghanistan from here. He returned to Delhi late last night.
