Adjust font size:

A 5.7-magnitude earthquake jolted most parts of northwestern Pakistan Monday morning, according to a seismological center.

The moderate earthquake also jolted Pakistan's capital Islamabad, but there is no immediate report on casualties.

A seismological official told local Dawn TV channel that the epicenter of the earthquake is in the Hindu Kush region in Afghanistan.
