Chinese Assistant Foreign Minister Liu Jieyi will attend the E3+3 Political Directors' Meeting on the Iranian nuclear issue to be held in Wiesbaden of Germany on Feb. 4.

Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Jiang Yu made the announcement at a regular press conference here Tuesday.

According to the ministry, the E3+3 meeting will be attended by China, the United States, Russia, France, Britain and Germany.

Liu will also attend a ministerial meeting on the reform of United Nations Security Council to be held in Rome of Italy on Feb. 5.
