Chinese legislative delegation leaves for visits to Malaysia, Japan

A delegation of senior Chinese legislators left Beijing on Friday afternoon for good-will visits to Malaysia and Japan at the invitation of the Senate of Malaysia and the House of Councilors of the Japanese Diet.

Led by Li Jianguo, vice chairman and general secretary of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (NPC), China's top legislative body, the delegation will also attend the third meeting of a communication mechanism between the NPC and the House of Councilors of the Japanese Diet.
