China will together with France learn from the experiences gained in the history of bilateral relations and implement the consensus reached between the two sides, Jiang told a regular press conference.

She confirmed that Speaker of the French National Assembly, Bernard Accoyer, transferred a letter to Chinese President Hu Jintao from French President Nicolas Sarkozy, in his meeting with Hu Friday.

Sarkozy in his letter reiterated his aspiration of enhancing bilateral cooperation with China in politics, economy, education, science and technology fields, Jiang said.

Sarkozy said in the letter that France will further contacts and coordination with China on major international issues, especially on coping with the international economic crisis and the reform of international financial institutions, according to Jiang.

Sarkozy invited President Hu to pay a state visit to France again in the letter, Jiang acknowledged.
