Adjust font size:

Russia expelled two Canadian diplomats working at NATO's representative office in Moscow, Russian news agencies reported on Wednesday, citing diplomatic sources.

Canadian Ambassador to Russia Ralph Lysyshyn was summoned to the Russian Foreign Ministry on Wednesday morning, a source with the Foreign Ministry was quoted by Interfax as saying.

"The ambassador was presented with a note on depriving the head of the NATO Information Office in Moscow, Isabelle Francois, and another official from her office of accreditation," the source said.
